The Way Home Podcast: Jen Wilkin and J.T. English On What it Historically Means to be a Christian

Today, we have two returning guests on The Way Home Podcast. Jen Wilkin is a well-known bible teacher and speaker. She is the Executive Director of Family and Next Gen Ministries and Resources at The Village Church in the DFW area. J.T. English is the Lead Pastor at Storyline Church in the Denver area. He is also an author and an excellent pastor-scholar. Today, we discuss the history of Christian theology as well as the new book they have written together, You Are a Theologian. Jen Wilkin Biography: Jen Wilkin is an author and Bible teacher from Dallas, Texas. She has organized and led studies for women in home, church, and parachurch contexts. She is the author of several books and bible studies including In His Image: 10 Ways God Calls Us to Reflect His Character, and Better: A Study of Hebrews among many more. An advocate for Bible literacy, her passion is to see others become articulate and committed followers of Christ, with a clear understanding of why they believe what they believe, grounded in the Word of God.

J.T. English Biography: In April of 2020, JT English became the Lead Pastor at Storyline Church. Previously, he served as the pastor and founder of The Village Church Institute. He is the author of Deep Discipleship: How the Local Church Can Make Whole Disciples, and You are a Theologian: An Invitation to Know and Love God Well, co-authored with Jen Wilkin. He is also a co-founder of Training the Church and a co-host of the Knowing Faith Podcast. He received his ThM in Historical Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and PhD in Systematic Theology from Southern Seminary. He is married to Macy English, and they have two children.
